Question : How to get past a proxy that blocks all *.doc files?

On my school there is a Squid Proxy thats blocks a lot of webpages (www.download.com and even http://search.msn.no/results.asp?) and all *.doc and *.exe files. I understand that this is for security reasons as there are a lot of idiots out there, but still i realy need to download some exe files. Is there a way around the proxy-blocking-thingy? (except renaming the files, that is not always possible)
