Question : Mail sent out from the wrong mail box

Hello,

I have 2 accounts in my Outlooks 2007, (1) is a pop mail account, (2) is an Exchange mail account.
the send default is set for pop mail account. But for some reasons, every time I sent mails out to people who are on the same exchange server, they received the emails from Exchange account (even though the send default is set is for pop account). But all those who have pop accounts, received the emails from pop account (which is correct).

My question is how do I make it so that every time I send emails, all people who has Exchange accounts receive my mails from my default pop accounts?

Thanks you for your help.
Paul

Answer : Mail sent out from the wrong mail box

You can't.
The behaviour you are seeing is the default, and cannot be changed.
When you enter the SMTP address, Outlook will attempt to resolve it against the Exchange server. If the addresses resolve then the email will go out through the Exchange server.

Outlook is primarily an Exchange client and it will attempt to use Exchange where possible.

Simon.
