Question : Wireless Campus Suggestions
I am looking for some advice on how to setup a wireless network for a big campus.
The campus is around 6 sq acres and i need the entire campus to be covered, The buildings were built in the early 1900's, therefore there are no ethernet/network cables between the buildings.
Here is my idea, I am looking for feedback and/or suggestions.
Since there is only one cable line run into only one building i was planning on using comcast since it is the only ISP in the area, and then connected to that modem would be a WRT610N Wireless router, from that router i was planning on having range extenders all over the campus to extend the wireless range to cover the whole campus.
Any suggestions on range extenders and/or layout?

Wiring the buildings and putting separate access points every so often would be your best bet. Otherwise you will not get the desired effect.
