Question : Domino Names ntf
I have used Domino Admin to change a users name for all intents and purposes it looks like the job was completed, however when you go to send this person an email the Names file still contains her old name. i.e testsubject/iss changed to subjecttest/iss, but when you go to the address book testsubject/iss shows. if I type in the correct spelling the one that shows up under file in the address book it goes through.
It seems like there is a cache that I am looking at when I go to the schools address book, that it has not received the change from the actual file. If that is the case, how can I refresh or what to delete to rebuild.
Answer : Domino Names ntf
How did you exactly change the user's name, from the Admin client? Did you also generate a new ID-file, or update the old one? Or did the user request a name change?
Check also the admin4.nsf database for pending requests.
