Question : Retrieve Email from Yahoo Mail into Outlook

I have an account on Yahoo Mail and utilize the client version of Microsoft Outlook 2007 for this application.  I had a a disk crash and did not have a rececent backup version of the .pst file with my Inbox/Sent emails.  Is there a known way to retrieve my emails (Inbox and Sent is all I need), which were sent from Outlook?  I'm thinking that since my Outlook is configured with POP3 and SMTP, that somewhere in the Yahoo servers, I can retrieve my Inbox and Sent emails, even though they were sent from Outllook client application.  Can you tell me if this is possible and if so, how would I retrieve my Inbox/Sent emails?  Anyway I would be able to retrieve is fine (ie. either in internet version of Yahoo Mail or in Outlook).  Thanks in advance.

Gmail will re-download all the emails.  Yahoo does not, even with an account reset, as you have tested.  You can ask Yahoo Customer Care to allow you to download all the emails again.
