Question : How to setup Verizon E-mail into MS Outlook?

Hi,

I want to set up my Verizon e-mail account into MS Outlook, so that i can send and recieve e-mails from there. someone please tell me what is the Verizaon POP3 addreses and SMTP address. and also shall i check the "my outgoing server requires authentication"? i am using MS Office 2007 and i have Windows Vista installed in my machine.

any other necessary settings that i will need to do?

I think that you have an DSL Broadband Access from Verizon?

If yes, the Mail server settings are:

    * Incoming mail server (POP3): incoming.verizon.net
    * Outgoing mail server (SMTP): outgoing.verizon.net
    * Your Verizon Online user name
    * Your Verizon Online password

You have to check "outgoing server requires auth" and select "same as for incomin server"
