Question : Ip subnet based VLAN

Hi everybody

I'm doing some network design changes and I'm thinking on VLANS.

I work with Nortel switches/routers and I have the following scenario:

----------------------                              --------------------
|     Passport       |                             |   BayStack     |
|        8600          |-----------------------|      450           |
|                          |      1000Mbps       |                      |
----------------------       tagged link      -------------------

The BayStack represents 1 floor of our building and there are many computers plugged into it.
I would like to create Ip subnet based VLAN (because computers have Ips on different sunets) but BayStack doesn't support it.

Do you know any way to simulate the Ip subnet based VLAN behavior on BayStack?

Answer : Ip subnet based VLAN

Haven't tried it but this link can shed some info.
