Question : Netbieu is realy necessary

I have this doubt many time ago.
  When I map a drive in Windows NT or Windows 95 with
 other station (with one of the operating systems above)
  ( a peer to peer connection)
 a need to have the Netbieu protocol active or I can
 map drives with other protocols like TCP/IP and
  IPX ?
     

Answer : Netbieu is realy necessary

No need for NETBEUI, IPX or TCP/IP will do as well.
