Question : Best dedicated server plans, exchange BES hosting question
We are looking to move our server to be managed online. we wonder what would be the best option.
Currently:
- Running exchange 2003 for 10 users that share calanders, contacts, emails.
- Pop3 accouns for 60 users
Needs:
- we need to run BES
- Would dedicated server be a good option or a hosted exchange service or renting a space in a server farm where we can put one of our servers there?
We can do the installation and managing of the BES by ourselfs, we wonder what would be the most coast efficient in this situation.
We currently have 10 users that are using exchange, and 50 using pop3.
We'd like to get to a point were we have all users on exchange.
which dedicate server services would you recommend going with?
- Can you please advise on some locations where we can put a physical server and pay for the space rent? we'll need one that has 99.9% uptime guarantee. in case of power surge.
- After doing some research, we found that:
hosted account will coast aprox $20 per user (For Exhange and BES)
Dedicated server will run around $170
We could not find any services for renting a place to put our current server
Thanks you for you info.
Answer : Best dedicated server plans, exchange BES hosting question
I'm nowhere near Orange County, but I did a quick search and found several. Probably best to start asking them for quotes.
