Question : Monitor port tcp 1433  ?

Hi Experts,

I'm current having an issue with ms sql connection time out with that port. And this problem is happened randomly during the day. Is there any monitor tool out there that can monitor port activity ? I just want to know what happen to that port ? It sounds to me that some other applications/services took over that port but I'm not sure which one.
