Question : How to move nsf file without shutting down Domino server

Hello,

some user have left the company. How can I move their database files from the server to clear some space witout having to shut down the server. I do delete the users from the directory but wish to keep the mail file for further use.

Create a new replica somewhere of the existing database, then remove the existing database. That somewhere can even be on a different server and/or outside the standard Notes data tree on your local desktop.
