Question : MDBdata Folder has A Large Number of Files

exchange mbdData folder has 120GB of data stored in there. is that a normal thing? should i go ahead and backup this folder and then delete some of the logfiles? my mta scanning service has stopped on the spam server could this be related?

Sounds like you changed the path of your SG and DB
By default  Undermailroot you will only have VSX-->badmail/pickup/queue

MBData is where you Tlog and Edb/stm files are.

You can use NT backup to backup your Exchange server

Yes the Tlog are 5mb each

If you Open ESM and right click on the SG and db you can see the path to thier location.

Its pretty scary if you have a 100GB and no backup !!
