Question : Unable to login to Windows XP with a new user profile

I am running Windows XP Professional. I setup a new User Account (as administrator) and tried to login with the new account and received this message:

"Windows cannot load the user's profile but has logged you on with the default profile for the system."

I can get logged in, but the account is limited in its capabilites (i.e. cannot start MS Outlook)

I tried setting this up several times with different usernames and have the same issue each time.

probably you have a corrupted Defaul Profile, which will affect the creations off new users.

copy the Default Profile folder from anothe XP box, past it in C:\Documents and Settings\
and try to create the user again.
