Question : why can't my laptop connect to the net wirelessly?

one of my laptops cannot connect to the internet.  I am able to connect to the net on the laptop I am on right now.

I do not have any wireless security on my network.  i do have mac filtering enabled and I have both laptops listed there.

I am getting a signal and an IP address has been assigned.

Where else do I need to check?

Just want to make sure you are getting all necessary information.
> IP address
>Subnet
>Gate way
>DNS 1
>DNS 2

then try ping to you're gateway to make sure its working, then you can ping to some outside dns server ip.
try ping to following google dns::
64.233.169.99
64.233.169.104

then try ping google.com.

let me know what comes back.
