Question : How to clean up browsing problem on workgroup based network

I have a client with Windows 2000 Advanced Server in a workgroup network.  They have only one server and it is not running active directory or any domain function.They have about 10 workstations running XP Pro.  Searching for "computers near me" or "entire network" does not show any other machines.  Same operation on my office network shows all systems that are turned on.  Checked status of browser service on server and it shows started and automatic.  How do I fix problem?
