Question : Having trouble getting m0n0wall to use my WAP on OPT1 interface

Hi, I am using m0n0wall as a router, install on a soekris box.  I have the LAN interface configured as 192.168.1.1/24, the WAN interface is DHCP, and the OPT1 interface is 192.168.2.1/24.  I have a wired network on the LAN interface, which is working great.

I recently set up a linksys WAP v2.2, which hooks into my OPT1 port via a cross-over cable.  When I look at the DHCP logs on the m0n0wall, I can see that the WAP is getting a DHCP address of 192.168.2.60 (I set the range from 50-60).  My wireless NIC in my laptop is getting the address of 192.168.2.59.  I have set up a rule on the m0n0wall to allow: Proto(*), Source(*), Port(*), Destination(*) Port(*) on the OPT1 interface (just for testing.... figured I would allow everything).  From the laptop I can ping the WAP (192.168.2.60), but am unable to ping the OPT1 interface (192.168.2.1).  I am also unable to ping any Internet address (such as Yahoo's).

Does anyone have any idea why I can only see the WAP, but cannot see the router.
