Question : DOS client configuration for both Novell and NT. Is it possible ?

I have two servers on my network. One is running Novell
NW 3.12, the other NT 4.0. I can log to both of them
simultaneously from any workstation running W95. I would
like to do the same from old DOS boxes. I tried to
install both the novell client and the lan manager
client and it failed. Before I will start further
experiments, I would like to know whether it is possible.

Install GSNW (Gateway Services for NetWare) on your [PB]DCs. Then enable NetWare login in UserManager for your accounts.

On your DOS client start vlm with option /PS=your_nt_server.

NOTE that GSNW is very picky about licenses, sometimes connections are lost/rejected (my personal experience):
