Question : Classless static route to reroute one IP

Hi,

I use classless static routes assigned over DHCP to send particular connections out of one internet connection. If I do not know the network address and subnet mask, should I be able to use just a single IP address and 255.255.255.255 as the subnet mask? If so this is not working and I cannot work out why.

Answer : Classless static route to reroute one IP

Yes, it should work as the route will always use the most specific statement. You are just stating the exact host. Just be aware that all the staement will do though is send the traffic to the next hop ip address you have in the statement.
