Question : computer can't get into workgroup..

hello...
i got 5 comp..all other 4 r working fine..
except 1 which is just has been formatted... (installed XP)
i set it to be in the network called "workgroup" already..
also.."not check" to "prevent other user to get into this coputer" which is the option in network adapter..
..i did everything the way i used to do..but the computer which just been formatted still can't view the network..(i will called this comp : comp5) ..
comp5 can get into internet..can do eveythign...except get into network..
anyone got any idea?
more question..the computer which used to be in the network ("workgroup") says "comp1"
, its name 's sitll in the network..(view from other computer ..says comp2) Y?
how can i update the network with XP and 2000?
