Question : how to rdp through two routers on a segregated network

I have  an office in someone elses building . They have Sprint DSL.

their sub net range is 192.168.1.1-255    and they DHCP and internet access is cool. I understand how to forward the RDP ports to a PC on that subnet. and how to change the ports so I can RDP to two PC's on this subnet.

To protect my network i have used a netgear router conected via the internet port to the lan port of the dsl router.
It gets an IP of 192.168.1.101 and dhcp's my network with 10.4.4.100-200 adressses.

so to rdp to the 10.4.4.100 (rdp port 3381) and 10.4.4.200 (:3383) machines do i forward the internet ports 3381 & 3383 to 192/168.1.101 in the dsl router and then forward them to 10.4.4.100+200 in my netgear router ????

any quick help would be very gratefully received

thanks  Stephen

Answer : how to rdp through two routers on a segregated network

Choose a port number for each PC. For discussion purposes assume her 3395. Then you can simply forward port 3395 from the DSL router to to router B's port 3395, and then forward its external 3395 port to internal port 3389 on IP 10.4.4.100    i.e just keep forwarding the same chosen port until the last leg which will be 3389. This assumes router B has the ability to map external and internal ports. Some routers don't and if you specify port xyz it has to be xyz for both. In this case the PC you are connecting to will have to have the default RDP listening port changed to , in this case 3395. See:
http://www.petri.co.il/change_terminal_server_listening_port.htm

Regardless when you connect you will need to add the port number in the remote desktop client such as 66.66.123.123:3395
Does that make any sense ;-)
