Answer : remote access to vista home machine

There is another company that offers full line of features for free. TeamViewer.com I used both log me in and TeamViewer. My Company Uses LogMeIn and I personally use teamViewer.

You see logmein.com is free but the free product has limted features. Don't get me wrong it is a great product if you pay for it. But you have to go with their Pro services which are paid. A good example of a paid feature is file transfer. I almost always need to transfer files back and forth.

WIth TeamViewer all that is free. TeamViewer maks money for commercial use. But for home use you got all that for free. And the way it know if it is a home use or commercial use is by looking at your PC to see if it is on a domain or not. If not then you are good to go.

Look into it.

Oh as far as the VNC option, I use UltraVNC. But you have to enable port forwarding on your router to forward port 5900 and 5800 to your PC.

Let me know if you need more help.
