Question : Need Help Interpreting an E-Mail Message/Log

Hi Expert Exchange,

I am having a contest with the subscribers of my newsletter in which it is to their advantage to forward a specific e-mail to as many friends and family as they think would benefit from my newsletter.

One of the subscribers that entered, submitted an e-mail to a very large number of recipients, and I received the following message on the blind carbon copy that was included.

I am attaching most of the e-mail which I received, but because of confidentiality, I am omitting the specific e-mail addresses to which it was delivered; however I am indicating where in the e-mail they were listed. And the format they were listed in was nothing unusual, and will be described.

I don't understand from where this message was even created; whether it was through the e-mail server of the person who sent it, my own personal one, or the ISP of my website. In any case, it is critical for me to determine how many e-mail addresses actually received the e-mail.

I guess more accurately, the number that were properly sent and made it through the Internet. I just wanted to clarify that I am not looking for how many people actually opened up the e-mail, read it, or responded in any way to it.

Thank you for your help in this matter.
