Question : SMTP can't connect to dns, unable to bind to the destination server
I have a server running SBS2003 with exchange and all has been running well until now!
I a list of emails in the queue with the status as retry and the message in the additional information "SMTP could not connect to any DNS server"
We are having no problems with our incoming email, checked with our ISP to make sure no problems. Rebooted our router and the server.
I'm at a loss here.
The NIC card on the dns server only points to itself and external dns servers are configured as Forwarders on the server in the DNS Admin Tool.
Please help!! this appears to be more of a DNS issue than an Exchange issue.
Answer : SMTP can't connect to dns, unable to bind to the destination server
Run a tracert to that google IP as well, and post your results.
