Question : File extention association

How do i associate a file extention in IBM Lotus Domino WebMail.
An end user is getting a .xls sent to her and in order for your to open it she has to save it to her desktop.
When trying to open it via the email it says this is an unreconizable file extention.

Answer : File extention association

It sounds like your user does not have MS Excel installed on her local machine.

If you are certain that she does, you might take a look in the Domino Directory under "Configuration \ Web \ File Identifications".  These profiles control the mime types that are associated with different file extensions.
