Question : adptec, HP dlt vs80 nw4.2

Anyone had any experience installing an adaptec 29160lp scsi card , HP dlt vs80 tape drive and backupexec8 or 9  on a netware 4.2 system?
I can get the card to load but with a warning it hasn't been tested with 4.2(??!!) A program called Tapeworks that came with the drive recognised the drive and i have actual forced it ot do a complete backup (first one since old tape drive died ar easter!! HOLY **** it was hard holding my breath for a whole month!!)
Backup exec wont load and says the driver is wrong and i should use a .DSK instead of a .HAM driver
Can't find a adpt160m.DSK drive anywhere!

Anyone have any ideas?
novel is patched to sp6a and i can't really go any further due to inhouse software constraints. I have updated a few nlm's to get this card going

try unloading the SCSI2TP.CDM and try the backup job again.

if that doesn't work, then also unload the ASPI.CDM and try the backup job again.
