Question : FIOS and Sling box

Does anyone know if there is a known restriction with FIOS modems and  being able to access slingbox over the interenet?   I'm able to access my sling box internally but over the internet i get cant access message.   I've set up sling box access over the internet before with Cablevision and comacast modem but cant with the FIOS.  
In the past when I've set up comcast and cablevision modem, Ive  let the Slingbox wizard  forward the ports and its always worked.    It this case I run the slingbox wizard and I get a successfully forwaded port and now able to view from the internet message but I it still doesnt work from outside of my network.  Can someone walk me through what I need to do or let me know if there is an issue with FIOS modems?

Answer : FIOS and Sling box

I am assuming you have a router/gateway between your Slingbox and the Internet.  Have you configured it for port forwarding?  You need to tell your router/gateway what port to forward to your slingbox.
