Question : DHCP Scope out of addresses

I have a corporate office that is using DHCP with a scope subnet 10.0.1.0 255.255.255.0.  The DHCP scope is extremely close to being out of address - I need to resolve this in a timely manner without causing issues with the current machines that are in use.  What are my best options for expanding my DHCP scope?  Is it best to start fresh and create a new subnet with more available addresses or can work with what I currently have with adversely affecting the current users and servers?

Answer : DHCP Scope out of addresses

Yes, that range would work just fine.  You *could* change the subnet mask on the scope before forcing new leases on everyone, but those existing users wouldn't be able to reach the new 0 network.  That might buy you enough time to at least issue out new addresses until everything else synchs up.
