Question : Does the traffic on port 137/udp is generally blocked in the firewalls.
I encopuntered some logs which says deny Udp to destination WINS/DHCP server and destination port 137. Why such trrafic is blocked in firewalls. if blocked for some particular conditions then what are the conditions
Answer : Does the traffic on port 137/udp is generally blocked in the firewalls.
yes it is denied, becouse host sends it to broadcast address 255.255.255.255, so the firewall is not forwarded it....
