Question : Lotus Domino IMAP connection problem

I have a Lotus Domino server with 23 users. I have set up IMAP on the server and all users are correctly registered. 22 of the 23 users are able to receive their email using IMAP connectivity from Windows Mobile 6 devices.
There is one user who, when he runs a send/receive on his IMAP account from his pocket pc receives a message displaying his login and password saying that one of them is incorrect. This is not the case.
If I view the Domino server while this user is connected I can see the IMAP session start and then it stops straight away.
Things I have done so far:
1. Checked that there are no duplicate names 2. Deleted the user account and recreated it using the old mail file 3. Deleted the user account and recreated it using a new mail file
None of these options have worked.
I have run out of ideas and would be grateful for any assistance.
