Question : Backup Sonicwall settings

My client had a sonic wall that went down. The settings were lost. We had to reconfigure it.

Is there a way to backup those settings so that if it happens again we don't have to reconfigure it?

Well on our sonicwall along the left side of the web console are buttons, one button is labeled "Tools", it brings up a screen on the right with four tabs, one of the tabs says "preferences", after clicking that tab you have the choice to export settings, which backs them up to a file.  Then if the router were to crash you could just import the settings from that file.  The import function is located on that same page.
