Question : Quick question regarding DNS entry on DNS server.

My DNS server is showing 2 interesting entries.

Under the Forward lookup Zones > Domain >
DomainDNSZones
> have a Host (A) record of 169.254.98.141
ForestDnsZones
> have a Host (A) record of 169.254.98.141

Why are they here? Can i remove them safely. Thx.

Answer : Quick question regarding DNS entry on DNS server.

Make sure you have register this connection with DNS unchecked on one of the adapters. You should be able to remove them but they most likely will come back if you don't find the server or computer that is registering the IP address. Make sure you disable any NICs that aren't being used.
