What is the difrence between Windows and Linux servers?
windows you will have to pay for software, linux you dont have to pay, its free
windows use IIS for webserver, linux use apache (mainly) for webserver
again apache is free.
windows you can use asp.net and other windows base program... but linux you would not be able to host asp.net base website ( 90% true, there is one product you can use asp.net but i need to find out, but with apache which is mainly use for linux, you would not able to use aps.net base webpage)
linux is more secure then windows ...and apache is more reliable then windows
