Question : DNS Host

I have a website that I am able to access from outside the office but for some reason I can access from within the office.

My configurations:

The website is hosted by an isp.

My DNS is hosted internally and is not linked to the ISP.

I have a Domain Controller that is also referred to as the DNS Server.

so when i ping www.mysite.com from the office I get the message that the host could not be found.

when i ping from outside the office i get a response and I am also able to browse the site.

Any ideas on where I should start looking?

Answer : DNS Host

let's 1st try the following :

is the external site FQDN is the same as internal

for ex: inter = mysite.com  & external = mysite.com

in this case you have to add the dns host(a)"www"  recorde in your internal dns server with the external ip address

methode n2:

check your firwall if it blocks outgoing connections on port 53 udp/tcp

and i'll be waiting your feedback
