Question : CISCO VPN SITE-TO-SITE TRAFFIC PROBLEM

Dear Experts

I've just installed a Cisco 1841 router at our head office. I've configured it and have everything up and running except I'm having issues with the VPN connection to our branch office.

The Site-to-Site VPN is up and running and I can ping servers on both ends of the VPN. I can't however gat any other traffic over the VPN. The branch office picks up email from an exchange server at the head office but when I try and telnet to the exchange server on port 25 I don't get a response.

I believe this may be a NAT Issue. Configuration of 1841 below:

Headoffice -> 1841 -> ISP -> netgear Rtr -> Branch Office

Haed office LAN 192.168.1.0/24 Branch Office 192.168.2.0/24

Answer : CISCO VPN SITE-TO-SITE TRAFFIC PROBLEM

Just a quick update. I logged a TAC with Cisco and have since been passed from Router to firewall department with no success on this solution. The closest we got was when the zone in and zone out was removed from both interfaces everything worked.

I'm therefore going to remove SDM from the unit and configure from scratch at the command line.

Many thanks for assistence given on this fault.
