Question : Cable Identifier?

Hey guys,

This is probably a stupid question hahah....

I have a customer with an ethernet-wired house. The router, modem, and patch panel are in a closet. I need to convert a voice rj-45 jack into a data rj-45. This should be simple to do with the punchdown tool. The hard part is to identify which cable it is. There are 6 or 7 cables. Can you point me to a tool that will identify the cable for me?

Toner and probe combo - buy one at any Home Depot or electical wholesaler. Just plug the toner into the jack and the probe will sniff the ends at the punchdown and alert you as to which jack it is associated with
