Question : lost Bluetooth passkey for Canon i80 printer.

I lost the passkey for my i80 printer and can't use it with my new handheld computer running windows XP.

Not aware of a factory/hard reset for the i80
(or actually the BU-10 BT adaptor  Manual here: http://support-nz.canon.co.nz/contents/NZ/EN/0900508401.html).

Not an ideal solution but the Canon PrintManager software will allow you infinite login atempts with the passkey (there are only 10,000 combinations!!=/). The default key for Canon is "0000".

Replacing the BU-10 is the other alternative (about $90) but make sure you buy new as you may have someone selling on a used preset adaptor for the same reason.
