Question : NT logon script fails to run

I have an NT domain in which users have logon scripts to map drives (all PCs running WIN 95). On one PC, the users's script fails to run. However, on other PCs it runs fine. I had come across this problem before on another occasion and another PC and the solution was to replace the LMSCRIPT.EXE file with one from a PC where the scripting was working. But in the current case, this has not worked. Any suggestions appreciated.

Answer : NT logon script fails to run

Have you checked your computer to make sure that it is looking in the right spot for the scripts.  Do this buy using policy editor and saying file, open registry.  Then check the settings for local computer.  Under the local computer select network, then update and make sure that the update path is correct.  If your scripts are in the netlogon folder try it at automatic which by default looks there.  Or try putting it on manual and setting the path to the share.  Also select display error messages so that you can maybe get some more info.  Hope this helps.
