Question : GTalk causing bluetooth balloon to popup in system tray

OK, having a bizarre problem and Google is not turning up any answers for me. I have a USB Bluetooth device installed and Google Talk. When someone sends me a message in GTalk and the focus goes to GTalk, the Bluetooth balloon pops up in the system tray telling me to configure my bluetooth device. There are no bluetooth devices turned on nearby except my wireless mouse and keyboard.

Any ideas?
