Using a VMware server hosted on my HP server I created a few different virtual machines to use as images
I tried using a virtual to physical machine guide from VMware but it was based on win2k and did not work with XPsp2
My procedure:
Install XP in virtual machine, tweak as needed
Install updates and sp2
Tweak more
Tweak more
Tweak more
(Insert: Used sysprep here on several occasions and attempted different things I saw in different guides)
Shutdown
Shove old ghost ent 7 boot disk into server
boot VM and pull image
push image down to Dell gx150
boot
It doesn't even get to the WindowsXP screen, I can reboot it and it will say Windows didn't start correctly and ask if I want to try safe mode, but safe mode won't boot either.
