Answer : Access windows XP from windowns 2000 Hidden shares C$ D$ admin$

Is it WindowsXP Home or Professional? If Professional, you need to turn off Simple File Sharing. Do that like this:

Double-click My Computer. Click Tools, Folder Options, View. Slide all the way to the bottom and turn off the Simple File Sharing.

Also, you should verify that the shares are in fact in place with "net share" at a CMD prompt on the XP machine.
