Question : How should I setup a Group Policy so that the Automatically Detect Settings box gets Unticked in IE7?

I am looking to create a GPO that will disable this setting in IE7. As far I havent had any luck in getting this to work. So any guides or information on what is the best practice for this would be great.

Create a group policy in the Organisation unit you require.
The settings are in User Configuration, Windows Settings, Internet Explorer Maintenance, Connection.
I would suggest you create a new OU and move a test user to this OU and create the Group Policy.
To update the Group Policy on the test PC type gpupdate in the command prompt as the refresh time is approx 15mins. When you are happy it is working then apply the settings to the required OU.
