Question : Outlook / PDA can not connect from outside network to MDaemon server but can send SMTP
Hello All,
We recently took over a clients network that has MDaemon installed and providing POP3 / SMTP services to Outlook clients. Outlook works fine from the inside. When I try to use outlook or a PDA from outside, Outlook and the PDA can not connect to the server to download messages but can send messages without problems to MDaemon. Currently smtp is enabled on the DSL modem to route to MDaemon. What ports do I need to connect Outlook or a PDA device successfully from outside the network to download emails in addition to sending emails to MDaemon. Is their any configuration that needs to be done on Mdaemon to allow this to happen from the outside? Thank you.
