|
I have a problem with a VSO purchased software. VSO have asked me to download the MSN ,to enable them to remotely access my PC to find the fault, this I did ,and I communicated with VSO ,( My MSN version was as theirs, but I was running the 14day trial ) we made contact and messages exchanged, but when i requested the  Request Remote access .for VSO.the request was seen my end ,but not theirs.many attempts made, even after reboot, but to no avail, the only other thing running on PC apart from windows was my AVG pro software. VSO are saying there is a problem with my PC stopping them to see the request.I have no other problems.

Actually "Request Remote Assistance" requires that the router at the site that is asking for assistance must have UPnP enabled on the router. There is a "ticket" generated with the request. The ticket contains the current public IP address, and also the LAN IP so that the support person can locate locate their PC from the remote site (this is automatic). Because the problematic PC is behind a router, the only way for the software to collect the public IP is through UPnP. Logon to the router and see if you can locate and enable.
