Question : Journaling Google Apps Gmail or duplicating all email communications

We currently have a compliance issue where all email communications (inbound & outbound) need to pass through our home office.  Currently our domain is hosted through Google Apps.

We can retain our current email implementation if all email could be journaled to our home office.  I believe journaling is an Exchange term.  First, is journaling just duplicating all email communications to our home office?  Is this possible with Google Apps?

If it is not possible to journal Google Apps Gmail is there any server or MX entry that will handle this type of situation?  It seems that all we ant accomplished is that if an email comes in it gets routed to the home office and gets routed to Google.  If an email goes out it gets routed to the recipient and the home office.

Does journaling provide an additional layer of confirmation that the info is going where it is intended?  Any assistance would be appreciated.  This needs to be accomplished by July 11.

Answer : Journaling Google Apps Gmail or duplicating all email communications

Yeah then if Google doesn't offer this as a service, I would think your only option is to get a server of your own (either in-house or hosted), and use Exchange, or something like exchange.

Other than the "multiple entry points" I suggested earlier, I don't believe there is another way to emails go to multiple places. You need to have full control over the operations of the server that is hosting your email (like exchange).
