Question : Can't get wireless router set up.

I got a laptop and I want to connect it to the internet via a wireless router. I got a linksys WAG354G which has a modem built in, but im having a lot of problems.

I cant get the router connected to my PC. I have now got this router, with built in modem, and another Zyxel router and NEITHER have a usb connection on them anywhere. How can I connect the router to my pc if it has no usb socket? It mentions nothing of this in the manual so I checked the back of the zyxel and sure enough it has no USB socket on it anywhere either.

It says in the manual to: A)  Connect the router to the phoneline, B) connect the ethernet cable from router to pc, C) plug router into mains and boot pc. Then I leads me to step two which tells me to type an IP address into my web browser and hit enter. Obviously if I type this into my web broswer then nothing will happen as I have no connection to the internet. Very confussing yet there must be a simple explanation... I hope.

Press the right mouse button on the wireless icon next to the clock and select "enable" - does this work?
