Question : Queries about Bluetooth

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is the correct channel to ask... if not, kindly help by directing me to the correct one.. thanks :)

I have a device that I tried to send data either to a handphone or to a PC via Bluetooth. The device is able to establish pairing with both the handphone and the PC, but it can only successfully send files to the handphone. When I check the services that the device is offering, from handphone, I see imaging, from PC, I don't see any services at all.

The device specified that it's supporting SPP and OPP, bi-directional, Bluetooth 1.1/1.2, class 2. The PC, via a bluetooth USB dongle, says it's standard is Bluetooth SIG 1.1/2.0, class 1. Is this a case of incompatibility? The PC dongle can work with my handphone though....

Pls help!!

Answer : Queries about Bluetooth

the pairing can only be done with 1 device at one point.

if you are using the device with headphone, then PC wont work at the same time.

Check this out first, Repair the device with PC
go to bluetooth network neighborhood and rightclick on the device and select connect.
this may allow you to access the basic services.
Note:
You may have to use the manufactured supplied software to access the device services.
