if the client wants the work that has been done, it must be made clear that you are merely protecting your investment (your investment, being your time)
the world would be a lovely place if everybody trusted everyone and that trust was never breached, but unforutunatly it is likely that it will rain marshmallows before the rogues of the world disappear
