Question : There was a problem connecting to the TPM (security device).
Mu Lenovo X-200 tablet PC running Windows Vista Business displays the following error after login: There was an error connecting to the TPM (security Device). This could be caused by a firewall or anti-virus blocking the connection. I removed the anti-virus and disabled the firewall. Also, the DHCP client will not start. Local networking still fuctions but Internet connectivity is not. I have checked the drivers and all report normal operation or show errors. Any one seen this beofre?

TPM is in the bios, boot into the bios and turn it off. You need it if your using the bitlocker drive encryption built into Vista .
