Question : APC Shutdown script

I am trying to perform a graceful shutdown using the APC software and it seems to crash our exchange when it shuts down.  I am interested if anyone knows of a simple script to use in the command line for APC shutdown in order to shut down exchange services prior to the SHUT DOWN.

Answer : APC Shutdown script

If you are using the APC powerchute plus manager software there is a check box somewhere under the options menu that tells it to allow graceful shutdown of backoffice applications (eg sql, exchange etc). We have always found this to work on Exchange 5.5 on NT4 / W2K server.
