Question : Virtual Server 2005 R2: virtual machine shuts down unexpectedly
Running Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 R2 (most current version). Works GREAT, except that just ONE of my virtual machines will automatically shut itself down after about 30 minutes or so. I am currently have 5 virtual machines and only one of them exhibits this behavior. This particular virtual machine is Small Business Server 2003. Ironically, I have another instance of Small Business Server 2003 that does not exhibit this behavior. I've looked in the settings area of the Virtual Server Administrators page, but cannot find anything that would cause this. Following is a copy of the Event Log on the Virtual Server Administrators page that seems to capture the shutdown - note the entry that says "Virtual Machine "TestServer02withRAID" was turned off by shutting down the guest operating system". I did not initiate the shutdown - it happened by itself! Any ideas as to what might cause this?

Because an SBS cannot be just a member of the domain it must hold all FSMO roles. There cannot be two SBS machines in the same domain.
